REACH FOR THE STARS! GRAB SOME NEAT PRIZES!
Do you have what it takes to fly a water rocket over 1,000 feet? If you
think you do, then you could take home a fabulous prize in the
officially sanctioned WRA2 "1,000 Foot Challenge" Competition!
 
All you have to do is join the WRA2 and fly your WRA2 "Class A" or "Class B"
Compliant Water Rocket over 1,000 feet. The first Water Rocket Team to break
1,000 feet wins First Prize: a brand new iPod Shuffle Classic. The second
team to break 1,000 feet takes home an Air Hogs "Freedom" Air Pressure
Powered Airplane. The Third and 4th teams will score an Air Hogs "RFX Lazer"
Air Pressure Powered Airplane.
  
Even if your team misses out on these fantastic prizes, you are still in the
running for our Grand Prize: a shiny new "PerfectFlite MiniAlt/WD"
Altimeter!!! The Grand Prize will be awarded to the highest flying of all
1,000 Foot Challenge Entries following the end of the contest.
 
Winners of 1st through 4th place will be announced when their entries have
been validated, the Grand Prize Winner will be announced at the conclusion
of the competition.

Submissions will be accepted until December
31, 2008. Grand prize winner will be announced on the week
of February 1, 2009.
*Teams
claiming the WRA2 Class A or Class B records are not eligible to participate
in the 1000 foot challenge.
Teams must follow either the
WRA2 Class A
rules or the
WRA2 Class B
rules.
Submit your entries (altimeter logs, ground and
onboard videos) to
WRA2
Contest Submissions
for membership
review. Submissions will be reviewed by the WRA2 membership for 30 days.
Once membership review is complete the WRA2 will confirm the entry and will
contact the winning team to setup prize distribution.
Entries will be processed in the order that
they are received.
