Oh ok, yeah, this is a good thing, attach a string to the top of the cone, have one side of the cone (i mean corner btw) attached permanently to the rocket, when the cone moves and is hanging, it drags the parachute with it, thus, Parachute comes out Just after apogee, no Timer etc. Needed :)
Water Rockets are amazing things, One second there sitting on the launch pad, the next, splattered all over your shirt.
