I want to make a multi-stage rocket, but I don't have any idea how to make the stages seperate. Can anybody help me?

On my rockets muti-stage separation occurs when the pressure inside the first stage approaches zero allowing the second stage to separate due to the pressure inside it. Stages are held together only by needle valves and gravity. Gravity and thrust holds the stages together, without it they separate. Should I draw a picture?
