A bigger chute will increase flight time. Just be careful and avoid launching on windy days (it will drift away).

As big as you can make it and still lift it really high! Too big and it will get too heavy to lift. Nobody but the rocket designer can know for sure how big to make it!

nice to see someone claim the record. just wish i had the funds for the equipment necessary to document mine. (still longer time than mine so far, my chute is deploying late or not at all.)

That should do. As long as the each flight is recorded from liftoff to touchdown Please make sure you post the videos from both flights and average the time the rocket in in the air using the onboard video.
