When you have multiple 2 liter bottles hooked/spliced together, how do you keep your water in the rockets with your launchers? Or how do you keep the water in your rockets with gardenia launchers also?
We are starting off with the bottles with full bore openings and the cross pin/and vertical air tube. Forgot the name of the design.
What is the most common way to keep the water or load the water into these rockets without it leaking down into the pvc and air lines?
My apologies for not searching thru all the threads, but I'm short on web time for a little while.
The vertical air tube that extends into the rocket can be extended further above the water line, a 1-way valve can be used to stop water flowing back or a section of the airline can be raised above the water level to stop the water there.

As long as the pressure in the launcher is higher then the pressure inside the rocket, the water will not come out, even if you have no internal tube. The pressure inside the launcher resists the escape of water like a straw full of water with a finger over the top. The air pressure holds the water from coming out.
