I used to make water rockets in middle school before graduating to model rockets and the TARC competition in High School. Now that I'm out of collage, I want to get back into water rocketry from a scientific approach. I would like to develop a very accurate simulator some day. My goal is to create a thrust test stand, and pressure, temperature, altitude, and accelerometer flight data recorder to help with this.
I stumbled upon this community in the past, but decided to join now that I am beginning to look into things a bit more seriously.

Nice to hear that, are you happy with the reliability of it?beginingrocket wrote:welcome and welcome to the forum im beginingrocket my name says how new I am but I been on water rockets for over an year I just developed a parachute system kinda like raketfued but the tommy timer has a air flap deploy
We used air flaps too, but they often activated the system accidentally, especially by setting up large rockets on the launch pad.
Cheers
Julian
