There's no "for Sale" topic, so are there any sources for used gear, I'm thinking of altimeters and cameras.

Generally, stuff that is applicable to pyro rockets are also applicable to water rockets, particularly things like altimeters and cameras. Check out a pyro rocket community for used gear.
